Grew up in South Florida and played baseball for the legendary Steve Hertz and played one season of Legion Baseball before becoming a professional Jai-Alai player for 15 years. Upon my retirement my wife and I moved with our children to her hometown of Washington, MO. I coached my son’s baseball teams every year until he reached 8th grade and then I took the helm at Post 218 with their freshman team worked my way up with him and had the opportunity to assist Tom Schroeder for two seasons at the AAA level with my son. I have been coaching with Post 218 for 21 years now. As the manager I have won three AA State titles and two AA regional titles. As the AAA manager I have won two AAA State Titles and place in the final four in two AAA regionals.
